The Manager’s Dilemma – Engaging a New Team Every 8 – 12 months

We recently posed an informal question to our network, “how often do managers get a new team?” The goal was to get a sense of how frequently reporting structure changed.

We received anecdotal evidence of turnover at least once a year from the gracious respondents.

Given the duration – is it fair to expect managers to engage with their teams if they turn over on average every 8 – 12 months? How hard would it be for managers to develop engagement programs for employees they barely know?  Is it any wonder managers are scrambling to understand engagement?

What if there was a way managers could quickly learn to know their direct reports?  Their communication preferences, their style and what they want, what they do best, what drives them?

Talent analytics can – Email us to find out how.
